He sets the empty jar down before Huaisang starts playing with his hair, gaze focusing on his friend as he opens his eyes, one hand opening the second jar while the other ends up resting against Huaisang's hip.

"You want to share this jar too?"

"Sure, Wei-xiong. We have time."

Whether they actually have time is debatable but the temptation to drink some more is too strong and he's weak. He's going to miss his chance if he doesn't make a move soon. Huaisang's not stupid. He sees the way Wei Wuxian's eyes stray to Lan Wangji just as he sees the latter get riled up in ways never seen before. At first it was funny and a marvel to behold but now he can't help but be a little nervous.

Of course, there's the whole obstacle of just not being able to muster up the nerver to say or do anything that might actually change things. It's ridiculous how Huaisang hasn't been able to bring himself to do much more than pine. But maybe if he drinks more, this could be the time he finds the courage to confess through word or deed.

Huaisang takes the jar and steals the first drink. He needs it if he's going to get anywhere.
