Archery contest.

The archery contest was still ongoing but he'd left the staging area, heading back to where he usually practiced his archery since everyone was distracted anyway. It made it much less likely he'd be interrupted and he'd be back before the results were announced.

Not that anyone would notice whether he was there or not, but it was easier to fall in line in case it did cause trouble for his sister.
