Nie Huaisang crushes easily and often. Maybe it's a side effect of having so much nervous energy simmering just below the surface. While his attention had been rather firmly on Wei Wuxian during much of the older boy's stay at the Cloud Recesses, once he'd been out of sight, he'd fallen rather quickly out of mind as well. Perhaps it's only natural that Huaisang's gaze should fall and linger on his other close friend next, not that he'd ever intended to become infatuated.

Honestly, he'd tripped over a rock and fallen on top of Jiang Cheng after taking an unceremonious tumble down a small hill. But now that he's here, he can't seem to stop staring at his friend's face. Huaisang lifts his hand to brush aside Jiang Cheng's hair, resting it against his cheek, all too aware of the awkward hardness pressing against him and his own as well.

Impulsively, he bends down to capture Jiang Cheng's lips with a smoothness that surprises even himself.

He knows Huaisang can probably feel his reaction, his breath catching in his throat as the other teenager leans down. The feel of those fingers against his skin drag a sound from his lips so they're parted when Huaisang kisses him, his own eyes closing reflexively. It's definitely not something planned but he's in no place to stop it now.

Not that he wants to.

His hips shift restlessly under the other teenager, a strangled moan slipping out into the kiss when he accidentally grinds against Huaisang.

It definitely wasn't planned at all. None of it.

But now that he's kissing Jiang Cheng, Huaisang doesn't want to stop, especially at that movement. It's awkward or at least, it should be. Yet somehow, Huaisang finds himself completely comfortable in the position he's in for once. GusuLan Sect's three thousand rules couldn't be further from Huaisang's mind, especially when Jiang Cheng kisses him back and then says his name like that. Physical movements and sensations aside, he's not really all that sure what they're doing exactly but why not just go along with it and see where it leads? Huaisang's curious now. He's seen quite a few sides of Jiang Cheng by this point but this is a new one, for sure.

Now Huaisang's back to staring at him again, licking his lips again as he often does when he's nervous or anticipating something exciting. He doesn't say anything at first though, not really trusting himself to speak just now. Instead, he gets up off of Jiang Cheng, reaching down to offer him a hand up. A slight smile plays across his lips.

"Come on," he says finally. "Let's go somewhere else."

Normally, Huaisang would be whining after taking a fall like that but right now, he seems to be in too good of spirits to do that.

He can't quite keep holding Huaisang's gaze so his own shifts away, his skin going even more flushed as he lays there, his breathing rough and quick from just those kisses and having Huaisang rubbing against him.

He does accept the hand, pulling himself up and then eyes Huaisang for a moment.

"Where?"

"I don't know... Somewhere we won't get caught?"

Surely, there's got to be some kind of storage closet or shed that doesn't get a lot of traffic around here. Huaisang squeezes Jiang Cheng's hand, mind working quickly as he glances around. Now that he's not quite as distracted by the feel of his friend's body underneath him, he can hear a distant murmur of voices. Disciples are approaching.

Yet he can't bring himself to let go on Jiang Cheng's hand so he just sort of starts tugging him toward their sleeping quarters for now, until one of them comes up with a better idea.

He follows, entering whichever of their rooms they reach first and lets the door close before he's kissing Huaisang again, his hand sliding down to his hips.

The kiss takes Huaisang slightly by surprise but he hums happily into it, feeling too giddy to be anxious or worried about any of this. It's very much welcome, as new as this is for him, too. He wraps his arms around Jiang Cheng in a hug, one of his hands sliding down to grope at his backside.

Huaisang starts to slowly lead them both toward the nearest bed, not breaking contact as he opens his mouth to the kiss. Whose bed it belongs to doesn't matter nearly as much as the fact that it's currently unoccupied. He brushes his tongue against Jiang Cheng's with somewhat clumsy enthusiasm. It's an awkward kiss, Jiang Cheng learning by doing and pulling back to breathe just as they collide with the bed and he loses his balance.

And pulls Huaisang down with ihm as he falls back onto the bed, hands curling in the back of the other boy's robes.

Huaisang's pretty sure he's read a pornographic novel that started out just like this and that alone excites him, along with the feeling of Jiang Cheng beneath him. He's smart enough to think and question a bit about what they're doing but he's also enthralled and horny enough to throw away any and all those intelligent considerations aside in favor of simply throwing them all away in pursuit of more pleasure.

He's just staring up at Huaisang after they part, his eyes a little wider when that hand finds its way into his robes, his own hands reaching for the belt on Huaisang's. Because he wants to touch too.

Huaisang starts spreading little kisses across Jiang Cheng's cheek all the way over to his earlobe which he gives a tentative nip. He reaches down to help him undo his belt, his robes falling open to give him more access.

As he asks the question, some of his characteristic nervousness creeps into his tone. This... isn't really the type of activity they usually do together. And the sudden sift to a more affectionate address is different, too. Not bad or unwelcome, just something he's not really used to with Jiang Cheng.

The kisses are distracting, his fingers curling in Huaisang's underrobe as his lips part on a soft gasp at the nip and then slowly loosen their grip. His only thought had honestly been more contact, but beyond that?

Huaisang's expression softens a little at his clear uncertainty. Leadership roles don't come to him easily or naturally; he's much more of a follower as demonstrated by the way he tended to trail along behind Wei Wuxian like a puppy looking for pets. He smiles though, relaxing a little. It's oddly reassuring that Jiang Cheng's just as fumbly about all of this as he is himself.

But at least, he's read things and viewed enough artwork to have a pretty clear idea of what goes where. And the first step to getting to any of that is getting undressed.

"Take off your robes," he says before kissing him again and this time it's driven less by hormones than genuine emotion.

Exactly what this new fluttery feeling in his chest whenever he thinks about Jiang Cheng means is currently beyond him but it also doesn't strike him as particularly important right now.

The way Jiang Chiang reddens is endearing, honestly, the feeling in his chest warms. His smile widens as he reaches up to undo his bun and shake his hair loose so it falls in a touseled cascade. Then Huaisang starts brushing his fingers through its length, just giving his friend a minute to adjust before pushing on any further.
