Flash.
Sorry, young man, but Huaisang just couldn't help but steal one more for himself.
"Oh, sorry, I accidentally hit the button and it went off..."
Liar.

He's pretty, Wanyin will admit that easily enough, pulling on a shirt that does little to hide anything before he moves towards Huaisang, footsteps deliberate as he crosses the floor.
"...Accidentally." He echoes the word quietly as he stops directly in front of the photographer.
no subject
"Y-Yes...? Unless it wasn't? I don't know. I don't really know..."
Please excuse him while he pathetically withers and dies on the spot, Super Hot Guy.

"How do you not know? It was either accidental or deliberate, Nie Huaisang. So tell me which it is. Because you can't not know. " And maybe he's even more curious after everything he's heard from his sister.
Who had been talking about the photographer and introducing them for a while now.

His heart starts to beat fast when Jiang Cheng grabs his chin and forces him to make eye contact. It's hard not to let shyness overtake him and look away. Instead, he finds himself staring at the other man's lips, unconsciously licking his own again as he so often does when he's nervous.
"...It wasn't an accident, Jiang-xiong," he whispers, his blush deepening. "You were just... such a good s-subject. I couldn't resist t-taking another shot. I'll d-delete it if you want."

"Was it my sister's idea that you keep me after everyone else left?" Because honestly that sounds like something she'd do.
no subject
"...Ah, yes, it was. She said that she thought I'd like photographing you and she was right."
no subject
"And more effectively than Wei Wuxian can, at least. He didn't even realize he was in love until she sat him down and told him it wasn't friendly interest he had in Lan Wangji."
no subject
"That sounds like him. He doesn't really notice things like that, even if they're said to him directly."
Not that Huaisang was ever particularly direct expressing himself when he'd one had interest in Wei Wuxian himself. And his crush had faded quickly enough as they usually did once it became clear to him that the person was out of his league, anyway.

"..So do you want to humor my sister and sit and talk for a while?"
no subject
And maybe Huaisang had already made up his mind that he was hooking up with Yanli's brother the first chance he got the moment he laid eyes on him walking through that door in those jeans.
"...My apartment isn't far from here if you want to come over for a while, Jiang-xiong. I live alone."
no subject
"If you don't have that much to carry, you can ride on my bike."

Though most people who knew him as a slacker in school would never believe Nie Huaisang could have that strong of a work ethic when it suited him. But there's a difference when he's doing work that he's passionate about and genuinely loves. He's taking his camera, though, so he puts it carefully in its bag and slings its strap over his head to rest over his shoulder so he won't lose it in transit.
Then he hooks his fingers in Wanyin's belt loops to pull him a little closer, standing on his tiptoes to kiss him fully on the lips. The one a short while ago had been brief so this one lingers a bit before he pulls away.
"So where's your bike?"
no subject
"Outside." He leads the way to his bike, settling on it and giving Huaisang a chance to get comfortable behind him, passing him a helmet.
no subject
"I've never ridden on a motorcycle before. Go easy on me, okay?"
He quickly gives directions to his place, an apartment building about six blocks away.
no subject
"Lead the way."
no subject
Once they're at the apartment building, Huaisang leads them down the hall to the elevator.
"My apartment's on the fifth floor," he explains. "And at the end of the hall."
no subject
"When I'm there, anyway."
no subject
He thinks he's remembering that right.
After a few seconds, the elevator doors close then it's a short trip up to the fifth floor. Once it stops, Huaisang will get off and start leading him down the hall.
no subject
"Have you been living here long?"
no subject
Upon looking closer, one will see that they all bear the same signature: Nie Huaisang.
At his question, Huaisang nods with a smile.
"It's been about six months since I moved into this place from home. Family tensions, you know? I needed my own space."
It's not that big of an apartment but it's his own place and he likes that.
"Would you like something to drink? I have coffee and tea. Or it if you want something a little harder - red wine."
no subject
"You don't need to put yourself out. Water would be fine." As his footsteps cross the room, coming to stand in front of him.
"So is photography or painting your hobby?"
no subject
All kind of odd hobbies for someone as young as him, maybe, in this day and age, but Huaisang is who he is and doesn't change. He heads into the kitchen to fetch a couple of bottles of purified water from the fridge and hands one of them over.
"What about you, Wanyin? Do you have any hobbies?"
He walks over to the sofa with the throw pillows and sits down, patting the spot beside him.

"And that is why I'm not allowed to be around people unsupervised. I don't always have the best filter. But I do practice martial arts, I guess. Sometimes I play games when I have time."
no subject
Huaisang glances briefly toward a rather expensive looking custom chess set laid out on the coffee table, its pieces intricately carved to resembling historical Chinese immortals and heroes. It's been quite some time since he played a match against someone. He really should change that soon, he thinks, so his skills and intellect remain sharp.
"And it's impressive that you do martial arts. I've never had any talent in it despite my brother's best efforts to teach me."
He laughs a bit as he opens his water and takes a sip.
