Birfday things

He'd been planning this for a while, had packed a bag for Huaisang with all the essentials that was already on the boat with his own bag and the other items he'd picked up for the trip. And he'd arranged to pick him up, pulling up in front of their meeting place and getting out to greet him so he could catch him before he got into the vehicle.

"Hey."

[illicitly]

"Hey!"

It's easy to tell that Huaisang's excited for his trip. A whole weekend alone on a boat with his boyfriend! Of course, his older brother had grumbled a little about it but they'd already had their own celebration earlier. They're out of high school. He's old enough for things like this now.

He darts forward to give Jiang Cheng a quick peck on the lips in greeting.

"Ready to go?"

[curtails]

"Yeah, get in." After he returns the kiss before moving back to the driver's seat, sliding behind the wheel to drive them to the dock.

Huaisang drops his own suitcase in the backseat before getting in the car, buckling himself in.

"I can't wait until we're offshore. Completely cut off from land and everyone on it. We get to have each other all to ourselves."

His cheeks flushes a little in excitement. Three days and two nights of having Jiang Cheng all to himself without anyone bothering or interrupting him. Just total freedom to explore and enjoy one another. It truly is the best birthday present he could be given.

Huaisang licks his lips in anticipation.

"It won't be long, but I do still have to drive the boat, you know." He counters quietly, his gaze on the road.

"We can't just let it drift for a while?"

There's definite desire in his gaze as he looks Jiang Cheng up and down in the drivers seat, exhaling softly.

"How far away is the marina?"

At least, he's being good about keeping his hands on his side of the car while Jiang Cheng's driving and not letting them wander.

[curtails]

"When we get out in open water, yes. But there's a fair bit of navigation before that." Wanyin points out dryly, glancing across at him at a light before rolling his eyes briefly.

"Come here." Then he leans over to kiss him, dragging it out until the light turns.

"Better?"

Huaisang savors the kiss for as long as possible. It's not quite as satisfying as pinning Jiang Cheng down in the backseat and riding him until his hunger is completely sated but it'll tide him over for a little while longer, at least.

He pulls away with a soft, dreamy smile.

"Better. At least, until we get there."

[curtails]

"...We don't have to set off immediately once we're on the boat." He's focused on the road again, his expression as neutral as he can manage.

[illicitly]

"Really? It would be nice to steal a snack before the main course."

Huaisang reminds himself that no matter how much he already wants to kiss him again, he can't do it while he's driving. To remove the temptation entirely, he moves his hands so he's sitting on them.

"How long will it take to get out into the open water?"

It's important know. He wouldn't want to fill up until they're finally alone.

"Depends on how many boats are out but maybe an hour." He shrugs a shoulder, turning a corner, gaze drifting ahead to the approaching docks.
