Huaisang finds his own vision blurring with tears again and for a long moment, just holds his lover close, spreading gentle kisses all over his face.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Even if I have to leave this place to do it," he says in a soft, determined voice. "I don't want to live without you anymore."

So much of what he's been doing with his life since his brother's death hasn't been living. It's been going through the motions, trying to drag himself forward from one day to the next. Existing just to exist.

"If I lose you again, i'm following you. I'll meet you in another life if I have to. But I won't keep going on like this without you. I can't do it anymore."

Despite the darker edge and intensity of his words, Huaisang punctuates them with another tender, loving kiss.

"I just want to be with you and be happy."
